Here are some more of the special events, trips and shows scheduled for the 2009 summer season:
* July 10th: Following the incredible success of last year’s surprise Tiffany Giardina concert at camp (you can see her at the Bamboozle music fest at the Meadowlands in May), we have added a special show to our schedule this year: Camplified. Camplified is a 1 ½ hour rock concert with 3 different musical acts, various games and contests, and a personal Meet N’ Greet with the performers after the show. Campers are sure to love Camplified!
* August 6th & 7th: After a few years absence, we welcome back the Star Dome show for our campers age 7 and over. Star Dome, which is an interactive exhibit exploring the galaxies from our very own basketball pavilion, only does a few camp shows each year. We are thrilled that our campers will have the chance to participate in this exciting show.
* August 7th: For our younger campers, we have arranged for a moose to visit. Not any old moose, but Marcia the Musical Moose. Marcia’s show is filled with audience interaction such as sing-a-longs and puppet shows. Sounds fun!!
* The 2009 trip calendar is nearly complete. Among the planned trips are old favorites such as the NJ Children’s Museum and the Hudson River Cruise along with some new adventures such as a minor league ball game, river tubing and Powerhouse Studios. Activity calendars for the entire season will be sent out as camp approaches.
