Deerkill turned into a rock party on Friday July 10th as Camplified (http://www.camplified.com/index.html) paid a visit with three new young musical acts: Phil Bensen, Taylor Bright and the Jersey Kidz. All three acts brought something different to the show much to the delight of our campers age 7 and up. Our basketball pavilion was transformed into a rock stage rivaling the likes of Woodstock, Lalapalooza and Bamboozle with a complete lighting system and sound crew. The campers got to try their hand at Rock Band in the morning and were given freebies throughout the day. But that was just the warm-up to the three-act extravaganza that sent campers home buzzing about the event and asking their parents for some instruments of their own. Keep on rockin’!
